Juvenile Justice Program

What we do

This program works with young people who are involved with the juvenile justice system or at risk of offending in the South Sydney area. The primary target group are Indigenous young people with a focus on young aboriginal women who are disproportionately represented in custody, and are more disadvantaged in terms of service provision.

We have two types of programs – one for young people who are about to be released from custody (post release support program) and one for young people who are at risk of being incarcerated (local offender program), but are generally not in custody at the time.
